I am a better man and business man because my path crossed with Coach Meyer’s path. Not just for those three things, but because Coach Meyer was willing to put himself out there to be used by God.
His resolve to do this led to his success, and because of it he finished the race well. None of us is exempt from pain and suffering, and none of us is except from hard work. It takes hard work to work through the pain and suffering, but when you reach the other side like Coach Meyer the presence of God is even brighter.
Coach Meyer was right. It isn’t about us. It’s about something much bigger than us, and when we come to grips with and live that reality we offer the world an eternal security that leaves us speechless with gratitude for the journey.

His divine providence in family, business and play is such that our every NBA is made possible in Him.
Coach Meyer embodied this.
May we do the same.
