Failure and Success

Tomlinson LOGO (color)The American marketplace is a fast evolving machine.

Technology, textiles, even food, drug and service industries are subject to this ever growing demand for upward mobility.

My particular fraction of the service industry has a clean on demand clientele in bigger metro areas than Nashville. Places like New York have maid service that can arrive at your residence in a two hour window after you request service directly on their website. These are exciting times for maid service, and I would dare say if you aren’t afraid of a little hustle you can make a pretty penny even if you are a lone ranger.

The number of high rise condos for purchase going up in Nashville is easy math when you factor in simple multiplication. Two or three maids catching several condos a day could make serious money, and owners like myself might even be able to provide benefits.

The recession we are somewhat coming out of was and is very painful for all of us, but when we take a moment to breath and look at the opportunities in front of us we can sigh relief that we still live and work in the greatest country in the world.

If you visit The Real Daniel  you know I’ve spent the last decade coming to terms with clinical depression, but these latest insights have created a several year habit of seeing the glass half full.

Life and business are hard, and anytime you deal with people conflict is inevitable, but when we lay our heads on our pillows at night let’s be able to say we tried our best and tomorrow is a new day to try again if we weren’t satisfied.

As my 80-year-old friend Larry said, each one of us has struggles, but it’s the times we come together for support that make all the difference in the world.

Don’t give up my friends because sometimes the only difference between failure and success is one more day.
