Saying No

Page-1-of-1.jpgThere is nothing easy about being self-employed, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. You work more, but the time flexibility is worth the trade-off.

The challenging part for me is saying no when I want to say yes, but if you do that your business suffers if you let every interruption block you. It’s a Catch 22, but when my morning starts off smooth I’m better able to adjust as I go through the day.

And don’t beat yourself up over “missed” opportunities. Knowing when and how to say no respectfully will benefit your business more than it will hurt it.
